Emmanouil V. Dermitzakis, MD Neurologist,Greece
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1997. He completed his specialization in Neurology at the
Neurological Clinic of GN "Papageorgiou" and in Bonn, Germany in 2009. Ηe resides and maintains
a private practice in Thessaloniki. Since 2014, he is a doctor of the Department of Medicine of the
AUTH. Since 2015 he is the primary investigator (PI) and responsible for international migraine
studies at the Euromedica General Clinic of Thessaloniki. Dr. Dermitzakis has been a Scientific
Advisor to the Migraine and Headache Association of Greece since its foundation in 2017.
He is an invited speaker in congresses and has over 80 publications in international peer-
reviewed scientific journals.
He was born and raised in Athens. Founder and director of the dance
school "EN ROI" in Athens, as well as former owner of the ballet school
"NTL Dance School" in Larissa. Organizer of the exams of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing for Central and Northern Greece in the 90s.
Graduate of the "Sofi Katsouli" Higher School of Dance, graduate
of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Durham University of Great Britain
in the philosophy of classical ballet, dance medicine, education
and dance psychology. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD)
modern dance tutor and teacher with a Licentiate in modern dance.
Certified teacher of Contemporary Dance by
the Contemporary Dance Association, as well as a graduate of the
French Barre Astie method and the American Zena Rommett Barre Floor.
Diploma in Dance Teaching for Children and Adolescents
from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance England.
She has been trained in teaching creative dance for
children with special needs (Autism Movement Therapy Provider) and
for people with physical disabilities. He collaborated with nurseries,
kindergartens and private schools in Larissa teaching creative dance
to girls and boys.
NIKOS PAGIDAS
Nikos Pagidas, an Occupational Therapist since 2004, has significantly contributed to health, focusing on individuals with disabilities. As the CEO & Co-founder of Nevronas, he has been instrumental in creating a platform that addresses neurodiversity and inclusion. He spearheads inclusive events, enhancing community engagement and support for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, he is the producer and leads the Nevronas FESTival, an event that unites artists of all abilities, promoting inclusivity and accessibility through performing arts.
For more than a decade he has been giving interactive talks to parents, pupils, students, professionals and companies and organizing inclusive and accessible events.
Also, he co-hosted the OpenMind radio show, giving a microphone to disabled people and vulnerable groups.
He is also a member of the non-profit organization BRAINSHOT.
PANAGIOTIS PARASXOS
Panos showcased contemporary dance alongside his partner at the TEDx event held at the Vassiliko Theatre in Thessaloniki. In 2020, he participated in a dance film selected and presented online at the 11th Athens Video Dance Project. Additionally, in 2021 he performed in a work-in-progress production for Europe Beyond Access (EBA) at the Onassis Stegi in Athens. Currently, in 2024, Panos is involved in the dance production ‘Don’t, Kiss .Skånes’ choreographed by Fabio Liberti at Skånes Dansteater in Malmö, Sweden.
